DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY 2013

On completion of this module students should be able to (Module Aims) :

1.  To provide technical and creative support for digital aspects of student' photographic practices.
2. To allow students to explore the experimental and creative possibilities of developing new styles of working with digital photography.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

1. An understanding of professional, technical and formal choices which realise, develop or challenge existing practices and traditions, and of the possibilities and constraints involved in production processes;
2. Consider and evaluate their own work in a reflexive manner, with reference to academic and/or professional issues, debates and conventions.
3. Produce work showing competence in operational aspects of media production technologies, systems, techniques and professional practices.

ASSESSMENT REQUIREMENTS:

- A practice portfolio to record the development of the student practical skills 25%

- Presentation (Peer Assessed) 10%

- Finished Project Work 40%

- Portfolio of supporting work, including visual research, development etc. 15%

- Final reflective presentation 10%

- Practice portfolio to record the development of the students practical skills [25%] - 10th December 2012

- Peer Assessed Presentation [10%]- First Week Back 7th January 2013

- Final Reflective Presentation [10%] - 16th - 25th April 2013

- Finished Project Work [40%] & Portfolio of supporting work, including visual research, development [15%] - 3rd May 2013.
